Belgian consular posts cannot receive and/or register this euthanasia declaration. Only Belgian municipalities can currently do this.
A correctly completed euthanasia declaration can be used in Belgium, even if it is not registered with a Belgian municipality.
Information on the conditions of validity of a correctly completed euthanasia declaration in Belgium can be found on the website of the FPS Public Health.
There is no certainty that such euthanasia declaration can also be used abroad.
