Mobile Kit

For several years now, the consular services of the Belgian Embassy in Athens have offered a MOBILE KIT service in order to register the biometric data of the citizens who wish to apply for new passport within the year.  After preregistration of the biometric data with the MOBILE KIT, a passport application can be made remotely, it will it not be required from the applicants to travel in person to the Embassy in Athens. 

Overview of Mobile Kit missions

I. Make an appointment at the relevant Honorary Consulate.

II. Send the following documents to the Embassy of Belgium in Athens by e-mail or by courier/post:

• The application form applicable to your situation :

1. passport application for children under 6 years of age
2. passport application for adults and children over 6 years of age
3. identity card application
4. kids-id application
5. application for pre-registration of biometric data for all applications within the following year

• A copy of the current identity card/passport.
• Proof of payment, by bank transfer only, indicating the type of document + surname (maiden) and first name of the applicant + date of birth (DDMMJJJJ).  We no longer accept cash payments.

In the comments, please mention: ‘type of document + surname (maiden name) and first name of applicant + date of birth (DDMMYYYY)’.

The Embassy will check your file and approve your application.

The Honorary Consulate will confirm your appointment.
