The mural painting was officially inaugurated on Monday, November 7. With this mural, the embassy wants to contribute to Greek society and to the efforts of the municipality to brighten up the neighbourhood. Emphasis was placed on the effort to make cities greener, respecting the environment and animals, in the form of a warm and joyful message for children.

In the center stands a young woman with her cat, a reference to the many cats of Greece. The woman is surrounded by the Paeonia Parnassica, a beautiful native flower of Mount Parnassus which towers over ancient Delphi. The artist's choice to include the poenia parnassica in the design could not better underline the theme of the environment and sustainable development, which has been chosen as the central theme by the embassy. Flowers are a great symbol of the true value of our environment and climate and how we need to be aware of the sustainability of our way of life, Ambassador Gustin and Kitsune explained during the opening.
